Homecoming

We went to the Homecoming football game last week. Robert really enjoys the games. He thinks the highschool football players are pretty cool. Ryan and I are wondering where time went, now that Heather is one of those highschool kids. After a lightening delay, our HS won the game and all was well. I think the kids like getting ready for the game more than actually watching it. Last year they colored their hair purple and gold. This year we got new sweatshirts and bandanas!

Time flies...

The last couple of months have been a blur. I have posted a couple of pictures of the kids on the first day of school. Heather was so excited to start high school that she took off the first day without letting me get a picture. So, needless to say we don't have a picture of all 3 kids together.
Robert celebrated his birthday with us on the 9th and about a week later we got everyone together and opened gifts. We made him a "half-pipe" cake which he thought was pretty cool! Check out the video, and ignore our singing voices...they're pretty awful. Thanks for visiting.

Goodbye summer...

Summer is winding down. Heather is visiting her dad in Austin and Robert just returned from a trip to Minneapolis. I have to return to work in 2 weeks and school starts for the kids August 29th. Robert will be a 5th grader and Heather will be a sophomore. Both kids will play fall soccer and Heather just decided to give golf a try. She is excited to start and loves the fact that they don't do wind sprints. Morgan is growing so fast, it is hard to believe she will be 2 in December. Ryan goes to work every day and looks forward to the weekends for some family time. We hope to go camping again before the school year begins. We'll post pictures if we are able to make it!

July 16, 2007

Welcome. This is our first post on our first blog so please be patient as we figure this out. Let us know if there is anything we can add. As we mentioned, this blog is for family and friends so tell us what you want to hear about, other than our regular posts about our day-to-day activities.

Most recently, we have spent a lot of time in the mountains playing on our four wheelers. They are great fun and we see some pretty extraordinary things. The scenery and wildlife are beautiful. Many of the photos you'll see are from these trips. These photos are of the kids on a camping trip to Lily Lake in the Big Horn Mountains. Enjoy!
